The Secrets Of Aging That We Were Shocked To Know About

The reasons why we age are numerous. Not one of these is completely well-understood by many people, as most of us will agree that it has little to do with our genes.

Many people assume that the reason for aging is a person’s genes, although it is not entirely clear how much genetic make-up actually determines our appearance. We seem to be born with the same genes. The answer may lie in understanding the basics of aging and why some of us suffer from it, while others have no ill effects.

There are certain ways in which the aging process can be slowed down or possibly even reversed, although the actual mechanisms behind the processes are unclear, researchers are yet to come up with a conclusive answer. Basically, as the body ages, it produces a lot of waste. Waste molecules can be broken down by enzymes and toxins, thus allowing the body to avoid accumulating these molecules for a longer period of time.

As the body ages, there is a decline in enzyme activity and there are various diseases associated with age. These diseases will take time to manifest themselves, but they are a fact of life. With this said, researchers have been working on finding out the factors that cause aging and what can be done to prevent aging and even reverse it.

Not everyone will show the same aging signs and this is because different causes of aging come with different factors. It’s estimated that approximately half of all age-related illnesses are caused by lifestyle, environmental factors, genes, and changes in cell damage.

However, the best way to prevent the aging process is to ensure that the body is well-fed, which will provide it with all the vitamins and nutrients it needs for optimum health. Regular exercise, plenty of water, and a healthy diet are also essential.

A gradual increase in life expectancy, in fact, will depend on the person who is living. While some of us have long lives, others are in good health only to have a stroke or a heart attack at an early age. The likelihood of a heart attack and the other diseases linked to aging increase with age.

Age-related conditions like Alzheimer’s disease, Parkinson’s disease, osteoporosis, heart disease, diabetes, cancer, and other illnesses are caused by the depletion of the body’s cells. Though age is believed to be the major cause of aging, the body’s cells also deteriorate and eventually die as the person gets older.

The use of anti-oxidants helps the body fight the diseases linked to aging as well as the deterioration of the cells, which are caused by the overexposure to free radicals. Anti-oxidants like resveratrol and vitamin C have been found to help protect against free radicals, which damage the cells and cause the signs of aging.
